Balanced proportions, fluid lines and simplicity are at the core of the Aspen Lounge Chair’s design. The chair has a clean-cut silhouette defined by a formed oak plywood seat and a powder coated steel base. The oval tube legs intersect the frame rails at a 45deg angle, the rails curve on both X and Y axis to create a seamless tangential junction. This junction creates a 360deg visual fillet at the top of the leg. Designed in collaboration with David Moreland for Citta.
